For 2022 our basket goals are:
- 1,100 Family Baskets
- 500 Singles Baskets
- 300 Homeless Baskets
We can't do it without your help!
Choosing your baskets
There are 3 separate basket types to pledge as a Basket Buddy, depending on where your heart lies. The overview of each basket is as follows:
- FAMILY BASKET: Consists of 2 bags of groceries, intended for a family of 3 or more. Price approximately $40, depending on brands.
- SINGLES / COUPLES BASKET: Consists of 1 bag of groceries, intended for an individual or couple. Price approximately $35, depending on brands.
- HOMELESS BASKET: Consists of 1 bag of food and other items for our friends on the street. Price approximately $50 depending on brands.
As each basket is specifically allocated to a nominated family or recipient you must register your pledge for each nominated basket to be a part of the Basket Buddies program.
Delivering your baskets
We have several options for the delivery of your baskets. The details of these drop off points are finalised and
emailed to our Basket Buddies in the last couple of weeks of November so you can advise which you’d prefer.
They include:
- At our Giving Tuesday event on 29 November
- Delivery to our Packing Event on either the Friday 9 December (Corporate Packing Day) or Saturday 10 December (Community Packing Day)
- If the above 2 options aren’t suitable, you will have the opportunity to nominate to deliver your basket earlier to a range of different locations around Brisbane in the week leading up to our Packing Event.
